Medline Industries located in North Suburban Mundelein, IL is seeking a driven, creative and hard-working individual for our IT Help Desk (Monday-Friday 9am-6pm). We seek candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrive in a fast-paced, large corporate environment.

Description: We are looking forTier 1 Help Desk Analystto assist in support of our customer facing websites, and password reset assistance across all Medline systems. This is a great position for a person who is extremely customer focused, who will own the incident from start to finish, escalate to the correct team for resolution, and follow up with customer communications. The successful candidate for this role must have a strong commitment and be capable of providing excellent customer service to a wide variety of users across a wide range of technical ability.

Training period will be up to 6 weeks; hours during training will be 8am-5pm. Responsibilities include:
  • Diagnose and resolve basic problems using documented procedures and checklists in the performance of most responsibilities.
  • Enter call data into a tracking system.
  • Escalation of problems to higher level technical support professionals when necessary.
  • Password reset assistance across all of Medline systems.
  • Support for Medline customers that order Medline products through Medline.com.

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with assisting customers with web based ordering.
  • Experience assisting customers using multiple browsers (e.g., Internet Explorer, Chrome and others).
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Strong competence within a Windows & MS Office environment including Internet Explorer based applications.
  • Proven experience working within a team environment.
  • Ability to problem solve and investigate issues when provided with minimal information.
