LaSalle Network is currently partnering with a client in the higher education domain that is seeking an

IT Asset Management

Support Specialist professional to join their team. This position is based in Evanston, IL and the role is onsite. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

IT Asset Management Support Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Asset inventory of new IT hardware, ongoing asset and inventory-related tasks to ensure compliance and accuracy of data and systems
  • Computer and device relocation coordination and tasks
  • Hardware lifecycle decommissioning actions to retire technology according to process
  • Computer enrollment and update in university security and management systems
  • Imaging and configuration of client and public computers and devices
  • Audit and quality control of computers, configurations and management system data and records
  • Remediate software and management agent issues
  • Respond to MFP device alerts to resolve KPrint public printing issues addressing jam and error conditions
  • Stock and replace consumable printing supplies (paper, toner, staples, hole punch, waste bottle)
  • Complete daily check to maintain a clean environment around public print areas

IT Asset Management Support Specialist Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in the Information Technology field, or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired
  • Familiar with Microsoft Windows and macOS
  • Able to interact and communicate, both verbally and written, accurately and professionally
  • Strong listening skills with ability to comprehend and document details accurately
  • Detail-oriented approach focusing on accuracy and completion of tasks
