IT Business Analyst

Our client, a 65-year-old adhesives manufacturing organization, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team in the South Suburbs of Chicago. The Business Analyst will facilitate assigned projects reporting to the leadership team which includes analyzing sales, the sales of products through select accounts and industry trends, as well as working with our current and future ERP systems to provide the team with critical business data that will enhance and improve decision making. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborates with business staff to thoroughly understand the needs to be supported by the information systems and technology.
• Assists with the implementation of a new ERP System, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
• Produces reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations and progress to management, customers, and other relevant parties.
• Maintains and ensures proper documentation and coordinates or performs testing of system modifications or new input.
• Creates, develops, provides, or coordinates system training, materials, and other educational tools needed for the new system implementation
• Maintains and analyzes data retrieved from Customer POS databases to understand the Product sell-through trends.
• Maintains and creates Sales reports.
• Creates and distributes ad hoc reports from the ERP system as requested by the Leadership team.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field required.
• IT knowledge of ERP systems with system implementation experience.
• Five to seven years of related experience.
• Experience with ERP Systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics BC or Epicor CMS.
