IT Helpdesk Technician - On-site

Our client is a hyper-growth Health Tech / Consumer Brand based in Austin, TX that has recently raised a Series D round of funding at over a 1B valuation. We are looking for a Help Desk Tech to work with a portfolio company in Illinois.This role is on-site M-F and you must live within a commutable distance of Hoffman Estates, IL. Reporting to the IT Manager you will be assisting our Hoffman Estates employees in-person and, when appropriate, our at-home employees virtually. Being an on-site role, you will have the opportunity to build valuable relationships with teammates and internal customers while also collaborating and learning from your teammates and leaders around you. Our Help Desk Technician will help with onboarding new employees, triaging our Help Desk Ticket queue (helping with basic tasks and assigning tickets to responsible parties). Our team has a customer service first mentality with the goal to keep our employees up and running with security at front of mind, but we do all we can to ensure speedy delivery of services.This is an initial 6-month contract position that will have options to transfer to a permanent position.

• Provide in-person support for our Hoffman Estates, IL office
• Provide first level support to users using our ticketing system, Slack, email, and Zoom
• Escalate issues to teammates and/or other departments as appropriate
• Assist with onboarding of new employees
• Assist with networking/work from home issues
• Provision access to SAAS products when needed (MS Office, Zoom, Mailchimp, etc…)

• Experience with MacOS and Windows Operating Systems
• Knowledge of Ticket Management Systems
• G-Suite and Google related products experience
• Zoom Video Conferencing and Zoom Rooms experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent multi-tasking skills. Ability to prioritize.
