- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Information Systems, Project Management, Business Management or related degree.
- Looking for 5+ years of Product Owner experience, ideally on eCommerce projects.
- this person will be wearing many hats; must be okay with traditional PO responsibilities, as well as BA work, create user stories and work closely with dev team.
- PO must have some type of digital product exp, if they have mobile product management exp another big plus but not a must have.
- Significant experience in working with software product development teams using Agile and Scrum.
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Jira, Confluence Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience: Professional experience/certification in product ownership or business analysis is preferred.
- Experience working on an eCommerce project.
- Development/coding background before moving into PO work.
- Listening and observation skills, to understand what people say and to detect what they might be hesitant to say.
- Interviewing and questioning skills, to talk with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information.
- Strong analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.

- Communication skills, to communicate information effectively and in appropriate forms to customers, stakeholders, management, and technical staff.
- Organizational skills, to work with the vast array of information gathered during elicitation and analysis and to cope with rapidly changing information.
- Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders
