My

Manufacturing and Supply Chain client is actively seeking an

IT Product Owner - eCommerce for their downtown Chicago, IL office.

Applicants must be local to the Chicagoland area as this role is expected to be on-site 1-2 day per week

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Information Systems, Project Management, Business Management or related degree.
  • Looking for 5+ years of Product Owner experience, ideally on eCommerce projects.
  • this person will be wearing many hats; must be okay with traditional PO responsibilities, as well as BA work, create user stories and work closely with dev team.
  • PO must have some type of digital product exp, if they have mobile product management exp another big plus but not a must have.
  • Significant experience in working with software product development teams using Agile and Scrum.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Jira, Confluence Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: Professional experience/certification in product ownership or business analysis is preferred.
  • Experience working on an eCommerce project.
  • Development/coding background before moving into PO work.

  • Organizational skills, to work with the vast array of information gathered during elicitation and analysis and to cope with rapidly changing information.
  • Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders
  • Knowledge of current materials, methods, technology and practices of the Company
