Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Bureau of Technology (BOT) Enterprise Program Management Office's (EPMO) Program Manager, the Project Coordinator supports the EPMO in gathering details, resources, and information to implement upcoming projects. Communicates to all levels of County management and elected officials on the progress and development of current and future projects. Sets up and monitor short and long-term goals with respect to project development. Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICSStrong knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and the ability, through training, to quickly master new essential software. Skilled in maintaining effective working relationships with peers, the public, subordinates, and supervisors. Ability to write reports, document processes and communicate effectively. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information. Ability to work professionally, courteously, and tactfully with others. Ability to work under pressure while effectively utilizing budgeted funds, personnel, equipment, materials, facilities, and time. Ability to work independently with minimal supervisor. Demonstrated aptitude for project coordination, organization, and work planning.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate

    is required.
  • Six (6) years of professional work experience in the administration or planning of Information Technology projects

    is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

    is required.

OR
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree

    is required.
  • Two (2) years of professional work experience in the administration or planning of Information Technology projects

    is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

    is required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Trello or Asana.
