IT Systems Network Administrator

OverviewWe are looking for a motivated System/Network Administrator who is responsible to manage and maintain all physical virtual servers, network infrastructure which includes updates, patches, firmware, backup and logging. Our System/Network Administrator will manage Unitrends backup, Office 365, Firewall, Wi-Fi, vMware as well as our mobile device manager and storage devices. This position will serve as a back up to our IT Manager and Help Desk support as well. We are looking for a driven individual that is seeking to broaden their skills over time with a growing company. We promote a team environment, so you'll work with fellow team members along with other departments throughout our company.

Responsibilities
  • Managing Office 365 & Azure administration
  • Managing Palo Alto firewall & VPN updates
  • Installing, configuring and maintain servers and networks
  • Overseeing system performance and troubleshooting issues
  • Managing Unitrends backups and safeguarding data
  • Performing system upgrades following new releases
  • Sustaining network integrity, server deployment, and security
  • Monitoring and maintaining network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways and intrusion detection system
  • Ensuring high-level security and efficiency resulting in 100% output
  • Microsoft Power App development and management
  • Solarwinds SEM management and tracking latest threats
  • Management of rogue detection software

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • MCSE, MCSAA, MCAAA or equivalent training and experience
  • 5 years of experience in Systems/Network Administration
  • 5 years I.T. experience with increasing responsibilities
  • Experience with VMware ESXi 6.7, Palo Alto firewalls, Adtran switching, Windows server, SQL server and Office 365
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • SolarWinds SEM/LEM experience preferred
