Java Mainframe Architect Remote Opportunitylong Term contract • Knowledge of Vision plus or Optis platform is highly desirable(mainframe).• 10+ years of experience architecting and hands on experience with large scale applications at large institutions with technologies like Java, Spring, Mainframe, APIs etc• Enforce standards, frameworks, and architecture principles and governance to keep the overall architecture evolving toward the target state• Maintain application level roadmaps, short term and long term strategic plans to align with the forward looking deliverables• Assist with EPIC elaboration to features and functional design• Create architecture vision and develop high level solution design for any new functionality• Technical guidance to tech leads for creation of low-level design• Assist the product and delivery teams to review the SOW and contracts.• Assist the implementation teams for client integration and onboarding.• Assist the delivery team for security remediation activities• Assist the application support team for performance, scalability, reliability and capacity planning• Research and suggest modern ways of development using cloud solutions.• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience required.• In depth understanding of Encryption technologies.• Practical experience with the end-to-end DevOps CI/CD pipeline including one or more of the following: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Maven, Gitlab, SonarQube.
