Candidates should be within easy access to a major metro airport.Job DescriptionThe Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important distribution and security integrator national accounts (US and Canada). The KAM is responsible for achieving a sales quota and defining the strategic account objectives for national and in some cases global partners of Bosch Security Systems, LLC. The KAM promotes the complete Video Systems BOSCH portfolio while leading the account planning process, identifying strategic initiatives, designing and implementing a complete program ensuring that customer needs and expectations are clearly defined and met. This position reports to the VP of Sales.

Establish productive, professional relationships with regional sales leadership and field sales associates for assigned accounts (both distribution and System integrators)

Program and implement necessary actions to meet assigned targets for sales volume and strategic objectives within assigned region.

Communicate the involvement of necessary BOSCH resources to achieve account objectives and meet customer expectations including: BOSCH management, sales (direct and manufacturer’s representatives), business development, technical support, customer service, training, marketing, and product management.

Proactively work with the partners and Bosch management team to establish mutual performance objectives, financial targets, marketing/promotional activities and critical milestones for the successful growth of the organizations.

Coordinate with district, regional, national resources to achieve identified strategic account objectives. Major emphasis is placed on partnering with these accounts in specific vertical markets and aligning approach to target end users and support third party relationships.

Accountabilities and Performance Measures

Achieve sales quota in designated account(s).

Comply with corporate policies for the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of information.

Comply with budgetary expectations for travel, entertainment, marketing and promotions.

Complete training and development objectives to ensure in-depth product knowledge and personal development.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business field.

Minimum of three years’ experience in technical sales and/or account management, calling on the Manager and Director levels within a branch environment of an organization.

Experienced in sales in security industry is required, national sales experience a plus.

Strong technical and interpersonal skills are essential.

Must be proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Power Point.

Must be entrepreneurial and highly innovative with the ability to conceptualize and implement strategic market/product planning and with good follow-up and integrative abilities.

Must be a strong team player and collaborative.

Ability to be resourceful and have confidence in driving the product business for Bosch Security Systems, LLC.

Travel is required, up to 60-75%.

Additional InformationThe U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000 to $160,000.
