What You'll Get to Do:

CACI is looking for an Lab DevOps Engineer to join our LGS Labs team. As a Lab DevOps Support Engineer, you will perform a variety of computer systems administration and support tasks including providing IT services and tools to support to CACI-LGS Labs employees in a laboratory development and testing environment.
  • More About this Role:
  • Under direct supervision, provide engineering and IT infrastructure support for a variety of workstations, servers and virtual machines supporting development and testing needs in a telecommunications laboratory environment
  • Assist with the architecture, installation, configuration and maintenance of enterprise class storage and data backup/recovery infrastructure (primarily Dell/EMC VNX/Unity and Data Domain/Networker systems)
  • Assist with architecture, installation, administration and troubleshooting of lab network infrastructure
  • Assist with the architecture and administration of server virtualization environments (primarily VMware ESXi/vCenter)
  • Provide Windows workstation, Windows server and Unix/Linux system administration support (Solaris and Linux servers (Ubuntu, Centos, Red Hat, Debian, etc.)) for real and virtualized systems
  • Assist with the architecture, installation and maintenance of Microsoft Active Directory servers
  • Support software development environments and change management systems
  • Support software automated testing environments
  • Communicate with end users to resolve issues as soon as possible

  • Must take initiative and ownership of customer requirements and tasks
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of IT system processes involving requirements definition, analysis, design, implementation, test and support of hardware, software, networks, security and life-cycle support
  • Schedule : Full-time
  • Travel : Occasionally
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline with a 3 years of related experience.
  • Experience in supporting small to mid-sized organizations (100+ users) is desired.
  • Experience in the analysis, design, implementation and support of large, complex, inter-networked systems is desired
