Labor Relations SpecialistRole Overview:Our client, a Fortune 100 real estate company is looking for a Labor Relations Specialist to provide guidance on labor relations issues, support union negotiations, administer contracts, manage grievances, and oversee disciplinary actions. This role reports to the Director of Labor Relations.Key Responsibilities:Lead and advise on Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) negotiations, including drafting CBAs and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs).Counsel managers and HR on labor relations issues, including discipline, grievances, and CBA administration, collaborating with legal teams as needed.Draft settlement agreements, disciplinary actions, and grievance responses.Investigate labor relations issues and represent the organization in hearings and meetings.Address policy violations, including Title VII issues.Assist with union elections, business transitions, and petitions.Analyze case trends and recommend strategies to address systemic issues through coaching and training.Manage labor relations projects as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations, Human Resources, or related field (JD preferred).3 years+ experience in Labor and Employee Relations.Strong knowledge of employment laws, collective bargaining, and grievance processes.Prior experience in CBA negotiations.Ability to manage and apply terms of Master Service Agreements.Proficient in Microsoft Office and matter management systems.Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.Experience working with hourly union employees required.Must handle sensitive situations with discretion and confidentiality.Beacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
