RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's client, one of the fastest growing insurance companies, is seeking a remote Lead or Hands-on Architect Informatica IICS Snowflake Engineer that must have knowledge of data vault, data mart, and data lake principles. Overall, the team is looking for seasoned help with their data modernization project. This is a minimum of a 6-month contract role, that should run into 2024. This is a remote role working in the Central or Eastern Time zone but the client is open to candidates that live near Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Birmingham, AL; and/or Jacksonville, FL to be on site if they preferred.

Summary:The Lead Architect Informatica IICS Snowflake Engineer will be working closely with the Data Modernization project team to play a vital role in the delivery of P&C data vault and analytical datamarts, lead design, and implementation of data pipelines, and represent the project team in data-centric technology initiatives.

Responsibilities: Technical lead/lead developer in the design and delivery of P&C data vault and analytical datamarts The Lead Architect Informatica IICS Snowflake Engineer establishes themselves as a subject matter expert that understands the business and delivers data & analytics solutions that drive business outcomes Partner closely with IT Data Architecture to ensure alignment with enterprise data strategy and roadmap As a Lead Architect Informatica IICS Snowflake Engineer, you will mentor and develop new team members

REQUIREMENTS: 10+ years (specifically) of experience in the data space 2+ years of experience in the P&C insurance industry as a Data Architect or lead technical resource is a big plus Several years of experience developing data structures, ETL processes, and data preparation workflows Significant insurance experience/knowledge Demonstrated expertise with Data Vault concepts Demonstrated knowledge of data vault, data mart, and data lake principles Expert proficiency in data modeling, IICS and SQL Working knowledge with Snowflake and AWS environments Ability to curate and deliver robust data engineering solutions, adhering to data governance and architectural standards

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
