Segula Technologies is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support new product introductions at a major OEM facility. This role focuses on methods development, line balancing and continuous improvement—ensuring production lines meet performance, safety, and quality targets throughout launch and ramp-up in collaboration with Manufacturing and Engineering teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team on conducting time and motion studies, develop standardized work, and balance operator workloads to align with takt time using Pre-determined Time Standards like MTM, MOST or MODAPTSTrain the team in customer new product introduction processPresent the station readiness plan to steering committee and to the customerPresent the line balance to the core launch team which will include product, engineering and operational team members.Lead throughput and bottleneck analysis to identify improvement opportunities and eliminate constraints.Provide direction to Station Design, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality teams to implement design and process improvements.Ensure that the data for ergonomic evaluations using digital tools such as Process Simulate Human or ErgoMan is provided to the responsible teamValidate PFMEA and process documentation for compliance and launch approval.Lead or participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen) workshops and lean manufacturing initiatives.Track and report launch metrics including cycle time adherence, first-time quality, downtime, and throughput performance.Support pilot builds, tool tryouts, and process validation during pre-production phases.
