Job Description TITLE: Lead Software Engineer - Full StackDUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC seeks Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack in Riverwoods, IL to develop and maintain full stack solutions to fit business needs. Full stack solutions require one or more of the following: front-end (user interfaces), back-end (APIs), and database and DevOps development. Work directly with business partners to understand business requirements. Work independently or with own team to innovate on and advocate for best practices within the team. Design complex solutions and lead them from inception to production within the agile team. Develop and maintain complex front-ends with a focus on user experience. Develop and maintain backend systems. Work with key stakeholders to design complex solutions and lead from inception to production. Create and maintain DevOps processes, application infrastructure, and utilize cloud services (including database systems and models). Innovate on and advocate for best practices and improved team processes. Mentor junior team members. Support live systems to ensure business continuity. Promote a risk-aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related scientific field of study and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: utilizing development languages and tools, including Python; working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its ecosystem, including AWS EC2, AWS Lambda, and AWS RDS; utilizing DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Docker and JFrog Artifactory; deploying CI/CD pipelines; utilizing REST API and Postman; building Serverless architecture using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS); and working with Unix Shell Scripting and databases. In the alternative, employer will accept three (3) years of academic study toward a Bachelor's degree in one of the above-mentioned fields and two (2) years of Information Technology experience to satisfy the educational requirement.
