RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's client in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced Lead UI Developer to join their team and help them develop and maintain robust web applications. The successful Lead UI Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing Angular-based user interfaces, integrating with back-end systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Angular-based web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular (v12+, v15 preferred), JSON, RXJS, Typescript, and DOM The Lead UI Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design user interfaces, and implement solutions that meet the needs of the business and end-users Integrate front-end user interfaces with back-end systems to ensure seamless data exchange and system functionality Participate in all phases of SDLC, including requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and maintenance, with extensive experience in Agile and SCRUM methodologies Design and implement user experience (UX) solutions that are intuitive and user-friendly Create automated unit and integration tests using Jasmine and/or Karma testing frameworks Use version control tools like GitHub (GIT), TFS, or similar tools to manage code and collaborate with other developers As a Lead UI Developer, this role will communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including technical and non-technical team members, to ensure project goals and timelines are met Stay current with new front-end development trends and technologies, and apply them when appropriateREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field At least 3 years of experience in developing web pages using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular (v12+, v15 preferred), JSON, RXJS, Typescript, DOM Strong experience with Agile and SCRUM methodologies Experience with front-end development with back-end system integration Experience in UX Design Experience in using Jasmine and/or Karma testing frameworks Experience with version control tools like GitHub (GIT), TFS, or similar tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, well-organized, goal-oriented Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
