Machine Operators Needed- $20/hr To $26/hr

My client in Elgin, IL is looking to hire a couple of Machine Operators – These are Mid level roles, and the pay rate varies from $20/hr to $26/hr & willing to pay more for good experienced people. MUST HAVE ANY MACHINE OPERATING EXPERIENCE Job Description:

Setup and running of printing press or high speed technical machinery, with a focus on time saving practices to limit downtime and setup times. Ensure a quality product is being released to our customers.

Mount die boards, assist in the setup of machine, and keep machine running.

Read and understand production order copy for every production run, and will assist operator in ensuring quality (includes basic corrugated terminology)

Understand machine mechanical functionality and conduct in depth cleaning of press when scheduled.

Must haves:

Reliable transportation – not accessible by bus line

2 years of high-speed package operating experience

Ability to work in a high-speed packaging environment, package, and label

Work with a sense of urgency without jeopardizing attention to detail/quality

Candidates must be comfortable with lifting up to 60 lbs. throughout the day

Shifts:2 nd shift – 2.30pm to 11pm3 rd shift – 11pm to 7am Should be flexible for OT in weekdays (OT pays is 1.5x) Why work here?
