ACHIEVE MORE WITH VOLTVolt is immediately hiring a Machinist with turning experience for a local leading organization in Mossville, IL.As a Machinist you will work on a team that provides machining support to a metallurgical testing laboratory. You will be required to follow written instructions and read blueprints. Equipment used to perform the machinists job functions include: abrasive cut-off saws, surface grinders, lathes, reciprocating mill, and large band saws.Machinist candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:- Individuals must have a HS diploma or GED; an Associate degree or technical certification is highly preferred.
- This position requires experience with programming and operating CNC turning machines (e.g. a lathe) to turn steel, aluminum and other metals.
- Highly prefer experience utilizing Mazak equipment with Smooth G-Code.
- Candidate must pay attention to detail and be quality oriented.
- Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements
