We are a growing Company looking for an experienced Haas CNC machinist/programmer to add to our team. Join our team to work in a clean, organized, climate-controlled atmosphere and safe environment. Direct hire-Pay based on experience

1st shift 6am to 4pm, flexibility with choice of 40 hours or 45 hours on a week to week basis

Must be willing to work 40 hours minimum per week, Mon-Fri, paid weekly.

Primary Functions:

Produce machined parts utilizing programs via download and edit, setting up and operating a CNC vertical mill and or CNC lathe, Haas machines; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records and maintaining equipment.

Duties:

Ability to do your own set ups and produce quality parts from drawings with minimal supervision.

Plans machining by studying detailed/complex blueprints and work orders; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD & T)

Download/edits programs by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation and conditional switches. Calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry and trigonometry; proving part programs.

Verifies settings by measuring positions, first run part and sample work pieces.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Ability to setup and operate CNC vertical and/or horizontal machines safely and productively.

Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.

Must work well with people and have good attendance

Must be able to meet and/or exceed HMC Products quality requirements by inspecting the parts to ensure they meet customer specifications.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Working knowledge of geometric dimensions and tolerances.

Ability to apply basic concepts of geometry and algebra.
