Fantastic opportunity for a Mainframe Operator !Our Chicago-based client is seeking a Mainframe Operator for their 2nd shift.Shift timings (2nd Shift)- Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 12 midnight CST.Location: Deerfield, ILThis is a hybrid model- 2 days onsite and 3 days work from home.Please submit your resume with a link to your LinkedIn profile.Job Responsibilities- Candidate must have the experience of working in Mainframe/Unix environment
- Control M scheduling platform is strongly desired. Otherwise working knowledge of Ca7 can be looked for in a candidate
- Minimum 7 years of experience in IT Operations
- Monitor and manage distributed batch processing-MF/Unix
- Monitor and analyze mainframe and distributed batch processing environments
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience in BMC control M scheduling platform mainframe/distributed or equivalent platform
- Complete service requests, incidents via Service Now.
