Maintenance , Cleaners / Janitors Wanted

A reputable property management company located at Chicago is seeking a dedicated, full-time general maintenance skills, cleaners / janitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing apartments for new tenants, which includes performing necessary repairs and cleaning the property. We are looking to hire immediately for multiple units.

Maintenance Worker – Requirements

Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues and necessary repairs.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs for compliance and reporting purposes.

Collaborate with other team members and departments to effectively prioritize and complete maintenance tasks

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field.

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication skills and ability to work well with others.

Physical stamina and dexterity.

Janitor / Cleaners – Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.)

Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.

Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs

Make adjustments and minor repairs.

Cooperate with the rest of the staff.

Requirements:

Proven working experience as a Janitor.

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.

Integrity and ability to work independently.
