Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionThis position is for a Maintenance Technician in a food manufacturing company where the position will support the facility and warehouse. The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, be highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a culture of teamwork and collaboration.Responsibilities:

Follow, lead, and demonstrate Safety and Quality Principles

Troubleshoot PLC control systems and electrical components up to 480 V 3 phase equipment

Maintain and repair pumps, motors, conveyors, and production equipment including mixers, mills, chillers, blowers, and packaging equipment

Perform preventative maintenance tasks including cleaning, lubrication, adjustments, visual inspections, minor repairs, and calibrations

Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service

Diagnose problems, repair or replace parts, test and make adjustments as needed

Work closely with process and packaging operators to eliminate downtime

Create and complete Work Orders into Computer Maintenance Monitoring System (CMMS)

Fabricate parts as needed

Knowledge of National Electric Code

Electrical/electronics, PLCs, A/C, and D/C motors, drives and controls
