Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob Description:
Preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery including chillers, freezers, cutting machinery, packaging machinery, grinders, etc.
Troubleshooting motors (AC/DC up to 480V, both single and three phase).
Working with PLCs.
Performing welding (if experienced).
Following safety procedures for lockout and tag-out.
Working with blueprints/schematics.
Following GMP safety measures.
Troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Hard Skills:
Mechanical skills.
Electrical skills.
PLC knowledge.
Work Environment:
Shift: 1st shift, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with some Saturdays.
Pay: 35$-40an hour plus OT!
Conditions: The facility is cold due to the production of hot dogs, hamburgers, and similar meats that need to be kept at a low temperature for shipping. Candidates must be aware that they will be working in sub-40-degree conditions.
Products: Working with beef and pork products.
Attire: Workers wear hair nets, safety glasses, and white smocks/uniforms. Wearing a sweater under the uniform is acceptable.
Team: The team consists of about 50+ workers, with approximately 5+ on the maintenance team, including a maintenance supervisor.
