Delivers and develops custom research projects and solutions to client problems that may not be adequately addressed through syndicated products alone. Delivers reports and presentations that contain findings, insights and recommendations. Works closely with sales team to support renewals, cross-sells and up-sells as well as closing new business. Works closely with Product Management, Custom Analytics, Survey research, Statistical Analysis and Product Support to deliver work product and build offerings that anticipate and meet market demand. More senior roles are responsible for building and managing teams of Analysts and Managers that can effectively deliver Comscore products and services, develop processes and offerings that support the entire business as well as Comscore's long term growth, and position as preeminent leader in its market space.Key Activities:
  • Manages a team of direct reports; mentors and coaches for top performance; grows direct reports on appropriate career path; grows technical capability in others
  • Attracts, engages, grows and retains key talent by advocating for career development. Builds enthusiasm amongst team members and gives team a sense of purpose in their roles
  • Manages resources; controls costs; understands and is mindful of revenue recognition
  • Manages entire product lines and develops and enhances assigned products
  • Collaborates with internal teams to implement process efficiencies and automation opportunities; manages implementation of new processes
  • Manages client feedback loop to ensure client satisfaction; recommends improvements needed to improve client satisfaction
  • Manages client relationships; works closely with sales to write proposals and manage renewals; works on deepening client relationships and penetration and identifies new business/upsell opportunities
  • Responsible for answering client questions about Comscore's products, solutions and methodology throughout the sales process; supports sales on calls when needed; considered a subject matter expert
  • Handles difficult client situations and brings to resolution

Core Qualifications:
  • 4-6 years' experience working in an analytical field
  • 1-3 years' experience mentoring, coordinating and managing others
  • Deep industry expertise managing market research, developing client relationships and selling analytical work
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to manage multiple large projects; set priorities and timelines; address risks; develop contingency plans
  • Ability and willingness to manage people; develop and direct the growth of direct reports; coach for top performance
