Develop and lead the execution of clinical and technical sales training programs, including lab-based and case-based training (for Sapien M3 mitral valve replacement)

Own execution of procedure training for Interventional Physicians and/or Echocardiographers according to the IFU and approved indications including documentation of such training including sign-off on for clinical certification.

Create and contribute to training efforts, including content development

Measure effectiveness of programs through post-meeting survey instruments, field feedback and KOL review, develop plan to address concerns, and lead the implementation of solutions

Provide SME support for cases

Collaborate with management team to ensure training objectives are met with consistency and in compliance with the sales training strategy

What you'll need (Required):

Bachelors Degree in related field with 8 years of previous medical device or clinical related experience required, or

Masters Degree in related field with 6 years of previous related medical device or clinical experience required.

Echo sonography experience preferred. Prior successful experience as a trainer in clinical and/or sales roles.

Proven successful project management skills

Demonstrated ability to conceive, develop and implement training and field adoption strategies, convert these into tactical roll-out plans and deliver results with a specific emphasis on market strategy and new product launches.

Understanding of related aspects of sales training processes and/or systems

Proven expertise in MS Office Suite and related systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative, influencing, and relationship management skills

Ability to work well in a multi-cultural environment and matrix organization.

Ability to relate to physicians, nurses, and senior-level healthcare managers

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Extensive knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to clinical education

Extensive understanding of cardiovascular science

Extensive understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology

Extensive understanding of medical device regulatory requirements and documents, device accountability and adverse events reporting

Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

Strict attention to detail

Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

Must be able to work in a team environment, including serving as consultant to management.

Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $153,000 to $218,000 (highly experienced).The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
