- Responsible for working with the merchandising leadership to align on tops down annual targets for key metrics such as: Sales, Selling Margin, Vendor Income, Receipts, and Inventory Turn
- Work cross functionally in season with merchandising and finance to develop divisional forecasts for Sales, Margin, Receipts, Turn, and Inventory.
- Responsible for adjusting forecasts based on actual performance and provide recommendations and options with respect to lifecycle management, exit strategies and clearance inventory liquidation.
- Work with Supply Chain to optimize inventory movement. Develop strategies to improve network flow, turn, and lower costs as well as remove aged/nonproductive inventory.
- Champion and support new business initiatives and acts as a change agent for new system and process introductions that support Ulta's growth and competitive edge.
- Must be passionate about team development and enjoy developing others. Must be willing to sit alongside team members and "show the way" while setting clear expectations and accountability.
- Minimum of 6-8 Years of buying/planning/inventory/supply chain related experience
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong listening skills
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong eye for detail, and capable of multi-tasking
- Strong Microsoft Office skills with solid proficiency in usage of Excel. Working knowledge of SAP or JDA a plus.
