- Own the development and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
- Develop effective data visualizations and analytical solutions that provide stakeholders access to critical metrics and insights
- Consolidate reporting and measurement in a single report by brand
- Ensure data integrity by leveraging proven methodologies, including data reconciliation, data integration and data audits.
- Use a variety of analyses techniques including advanced statistics and/or AI/ML, as needed, to conduct ad hoc analyses to answer strategic business questions raised by internal stakeholders
- Participate in A/B testing, analytics, market research, and consumer insights to both assess the impact of just-released ad products as well as to refine the future roadmap and capabilities
- Building a collaborative working relationship with sales and marketing management to compile business and customer insights to attain business goals and inform ad product developments
- Prepare and present results to various teams within the organization in an audience specific language with an orientation toward action-oriented decision-making
- Actively listen to the needs of others (guests, partners, co-workers) to understand and provide accurate information or solutions.
- Lead best practices in reporting & analysis: test design, validation, and documentation
- Recognize and adopt best practices to improve analytics processes and deliverables
- Provide analytical knowledge to guide on strategy, direction, and timing of ad product creation and improvements
- 3-5 years of experience in analytics / quant role and reporting at a publisher, ad network, Retail Media Network or eCommerce / retail company
- Experience working in digital marketing environment, e.g., with ad servers, web analytics, search bid management etc.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, SAS, Python, R, statistics and proficiency in Excel
- Experience working with cloud computing (Google Cloud, AWS, etc) is a plus
- Proficiency in data visualization tools a plus, e.g., Tableau
- Understanding of relational databases, ETL, database structures a plus
- Experience in developing integrated reporting at category or brand level
- Ability to work closely with Customer Analytics, Campaign Management, Sales as well as Tech and Data Teams
- Ability to work directly with external partners (Ad Agency and Tech vendors) to get access to data and get clarification / more granular information as needed
- Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate findings from data and research to focus on the critical issues and actionable opportunities
- Eagerness to learn and a growth mindset needed to build a successful team and company
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, growing environment, deal with ambiguity, and remain focused on execution
