Job Responsibilities: Support production with machine setups, trouble shooting, process improvement, operator training and other functions. Support engineering with part updates, machine layouts and programs, as well as other functions. Attend trade shows to gain knowledge on different and new technology within the manufacturing field Generate new business quotations for customers; includes cycle layouts and choosing proper tooling for the job Communicate with customers throughout entire quoting and manufacturing process Suggest modifications to customer specifications to simplify engineering and manufacturing problems Generate blueprints, tool layouts and programs on newly awarded business Job Pre-Requisites: Ability to read and understand part prints. Experience with Star CNC, Swiss CNC Machines, Vertical Machining Centers, HAAS machines is a plus. Experience with inspection devices, specifically micrometers and calipers Experience with drawing software, Solidworks is a plus. Experience with computer and/or machine programming, MasterCAM a plus Ability to be a team leader Ability to work in a manufacturing environment for long shifts. Driven attitude for problem solving and continuous improvement. 4 years minimum work experience.
