Description:The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible primarily for the following activities and will perform other duties as assigned: Safety Providing line support for Root Cause & Corrective Actions for issues and incident investigations Following the Safety CI Card process Discussing the Problem and Solution and initialing the card with the Originator within 24 hours of posting Communicating updates to the CI Card Originators regularly Obtaining final signature from the Originator upon CI Card closure Proactively reviewing and updating manufacturing engineering documentation Modeling, recognizing, and reinforcing safe behavior Quality Providing line support for Root Cause & Corrective Actions for issues and scrap investigations Following the CI Card process Attending BIQ meetings to report out on issues as assigned Velocity Providing line support for Root Cause & Corrective Actions for issues Following the CI Card process Cost Providing line support for Root Cause & Corrective Actions for issues Following the CI Card process General Create and maintain the following manufacturing engineering documentation as needed: Burden Sheets Standard Work Visual Aids PFMEAs Control Plans Tool Orders Torque Tool Requests Routings Purchase RequisitionsMore specifically:Responsibilities:This role owns Lower PT assembly processes and development. Responding to Continuous Improvement cards to support SVQC (Safety, Velocity, Quality, Cost). Creating standard work and assembly routings in CAPP+. Update and create visual aids in PowerPoint.
