Working at the foundry is hard work that demands focus and safety, quality, and commitment to helping our customers build a better world.With over 800 employees at the foundry, we are looking for someone who can support process development projects for the continuous improvement of the safety, quality, velocity and cost of manufacturing.ResponsibilitiesThe role will be a Foundry Manufacturing Engineer at the Mapleton Foundry, which includes:
Direct operations day-to-day process support of melting department.
Continuous process improvement projects implementing automation and robotics.
Support operations continuous improvement (CI cards) to achieve safety goals, capacity requirements, product cost and quality commitments.
The position manages the completion of its own work assignments and coordinates work with others.
The position is challenged to quickly identify and utilize 6 sigma problem solving methodology resolving problems.
This position will run capital projects for new equipment installations.
Degree Requirement:This position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.Top Candidates May Have:
