Join us.Job DescriptionThe focus of this position is to drive market development and provide subject matter expertise for a quarry autonomy solution. This will be enabled through the definition of market requirements, management of market engagements, and developing and executing of a go-to-market plan. This role will be engaged in the creation and or alignment of strategic automation roadmaps for some of Caterpillar’s most important customers. You will work with customers to assess quarry plans and organizational objectives to design, develop, budget, and manage product development and see them through the NPI process to successful market release. Additional responsibilities of this role will be to assist in the preparation and delivery of technical sales presentations and demos to customers, commercial support, dealers, and regional teams. This role will work closely with internal commercial reps, global/corporate accounts, customers, and dealers in guiding and steering the product direction in relation to commercial requirements.Job Duties:

Define autonomy operational, functional, and commercial requirements for quarries.

Commercial lead and interface point for dealers, customers, early learners, Caterpillar, and external development partners.

Support Caterpillar and industry events and customer sales visits.

Develop a communications matrix to enable efficient customer engagements.

Develop and execute the go-to-market plan and materials for autonomy in the quarry industry inclusive of customer segmentation, market opportunity, and growth targets driving product development.

Collaborate with the mining Site Assessment and Value Quantification team to ensure coverage of quarry industry needs.

Define a scalable organization for the ongoing commercial support of a post-production Command for quarries.

Fulfill the Commercial role in quarry autonomy NPI programs.

Collaborate with the Customer Experience team within MineStar Solutions to develop and execute a full customer experience plan leveraging the existing Command for hauling capabilities.

Support regular sales planning processes.

Lead RFP responses.

Provide sales training to sales reps and dealers.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum 10 years of quarry industry experience with a strong knowledge of applications and best practices.

Excellent PC and IT skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Account management experience.

Sales and presentation experience.

High level of customer focus.

Experience with Surface Autonomy.

Caterpillar dealer experience.

Training material development and delivery experience.

Understanding of IP networks, radio communications, and on-board machine technology systems.

Experience with operational technology systems (Fleet management systems, On-machine HP GPS technologies, Asset health systems).

Operational experience in quarry operations and production.

Business analytics report writing skills (e.g. Business Objects, Power BI, etc).

Familiarity and/or experience with one or more of the following systems (MineStar, Modular Mining, JigSaw-Leica, Wenco, Ivolve).
