With Northrop Grumman, you’ll have the opportunity to be an essential part of projects that will define your career, now and in the future.Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Material Requirements Planning Analyst to become part of the Specialized Tactical Electronic Warfare Systems (STEWS) Site team at our Rolling Meadows, IL location. This position will be an integral part of the F-16 FMS Product Support Integration (PSI) Program. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for:Driving repair requirements with speed and accuracy; initiating SAP demand, releasing material / service, requisitions, implementing change orders and monitoring requirements through Purchase Order (PO) issuance and on-time delivery.Responsibilities Include:

Develop and analyze material requirements; establish and execute priorities.

Analyze system data to prepare material requirements to include material master, demand, spend plans, and monthly financial material forecasts.

Identify material shortage requirements and develop solutions to complex problems. Expedite repair and material requirements as needed.

Resolve schedule, material requirement or business system problems with cross-functional representatives as well as master schedules and production problems

Approve material or service requisitions; initiate purchase change orders. Responsible to ensure availability of all materials required to support completion of program repairs.

Ensure timely and accurate material / repair data collection to enable accurate material forecasting to support on-going repair activity.

Basic Qualifications:

Must have a High School diploma/GED and 7 yrs. of direct relevant experience in supply chain, material management or supplier management. A bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in supply chain, material management or supplier management may also be considered; a Masters degree and 1 year of experience in supply chain, material management or supplier management may also be considered;

Experience should be in a production, repair, and/or depot environment;

Proficiency in MS Office Excel.

Must be proficient in collecting and analyzing data to create complex material requirements reports and spend reports.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to obtain and retain a DoD Secret Clearance

Must be able to work on-site in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active Secret Clearance

Bachelor's Degree in related field

3+ years of experience material analysis and/or planning in a depot or production environment.

Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

SAP Material transaction experience preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Access

NGSkillsSalary Range: $62,600 - $93,800The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
