An Architecture and Engineering firm in the Western suburbs of Chicago is looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to their team! Full benefits, overtime pay and hybrid work schedule offered. Job Description:
Tasks for this position include designing aspects of mechanical, plumbing and fire protection engineering systems in Revit
Will report directly to the Mechanical Department Head
Attend weekly team meetings to discuss project deadlines, tasks, and upcoming workload
Communicate with Architects (in-house), client, and consultants when necessary
Additional responsibilities based on years of experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
2-10 years of experience designing mechanical systems for buildings.
Experience exclusively in product design is not relevant
Ability to become licensed
Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within this field and ability to write specifications
Experience designing HVAC, plumbing and mechanical systems required
AutoCAD, Revit, Spec-Link (plus)
