We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist for the Night Shift ( 1030pm to 7am). This is a generalist position with a focus on blood bank. It is a full time position with benefits.
Job Duties and Qualifications- Works under the supervision of a medical technologist to perform routine laboratory testing.
- Obtains and prepares patient specimens.
- Performs diagnostic laboratory tests and procedures on body fluids and other specimens using both manual and automated methods of analysis.
- Reviews, assesses and interprets test results. Accurately reports results along with relevant information pertaining to the prevention, diagnosis or treatment of disease.
- Assesses all preanalytic, analytical and post-analytical variables of the testing process to assure the accuracy of the results reported.
