ACHIEVE MORE WITH VOLTVolt is immediately hiring a Metallurgical Analyst Engineer for a local leading organization in Mossville, IL.As a Metallurgical Analyst Engineer you will be supporting failure analysis, in which you will work in a hands-on lab supporting industrial and chemical processes related to material selection and metallurgical analysis. Additionally, you will support process engineering for heat treating, casting, and coating. Metallurgical Analyst Engineer candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineer, Materials Engineering, Material Science, Industrial Engineering or similar discipline.
- Candidate must be able to understand the processes and results of various chemical processes and manufacturing operations.
- Candidate must have knowledge of metallurgy processes, including heath treating, steel composition, thermal and mechanical properties of various iron and carbon steels would be helpful.
- Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements
