Kelly IT is recruiting for a
Network Engineer ( Full-Time + Benefits ) opportunity with a growing and dynamic company located in Elk Grove Village, IL - hybrid: 3 days onsite & 2 days remot. Please Note: This is a W-2 position - no C2C , no H4, no H1B or no OPT. We appreciate all applicants, but we and the client are not able to sponsor at this time for this position. The Network Engineer will be part of a team which is an onsite 24/7/365 central point of contact, communication, and incident support for the technology and infrastructure. This is a hybrid role that focuses on network support but offers additional opportunities to work with all other components of IT Infrastructure. You'll be a first responder focused on keeping our network, servers, operating systems, and applications running smoothly. You'll play a central role in the health and stability of our infrastructure; this will include troubleshooting, documentation, communication, planning, implementation, and coordinating efforts to resolve issues with our partners and vendors.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: - BS/BA or equivalent IT experience
- CCNA Certification, required
- Good understanding of network comm. and server technology - Cisco
- Familiar with monitoring tools - used some industry tools - i.e. Cisco's performance tools
- Ability to troubleshoot network communication, current server technology, and hardware
- Working knowledge of routers, switches, firewall, and CTI components
- Experience using other synthetic and real-time monitoring tools (agent-based and agentless)
- Experience with Agile implementation methodologies
- Flexibility to work Wed-Sun, 6:30am-3pm
