Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, management, and optimization of our organization's network infrastructure. This includes both local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs), ensuring seamless and secure connectivity across our systems. The Network Engineer will collaborate closely with other IT professionals to ensure high availability, performance, and security of network services and technologies.Key Responsibilities:

Network Design & Implementation: Plan, design, and implement scalable, secure, and efficient network infrastructures to meet business requirements.

Configuration & Installation: Install and configure network hardware, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.

Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance, identify issues, and perform troubleshooting to maintain optimal network functionality.

Security: Ensure the security of the network by implementing firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and other security measures.

Performance Optimization: Regularly assess network performance and make improvements to maximize speed and reliability.

Documentation: Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, and documentation for all network-related equipment and infrastructure.

Collaboration: Work with other IT teams and business units to support projects and resolve network-related issues.

Compliance: Ensure network infrastructure complies with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

Disaster Recovery & Backup: Participate in disaster recovery planning, including backup strategies and the restoration of services during network outages.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

At least 3-5 years of experience in a network engineering or administration role.

Hands-on experience with configuring, managing, and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware.
