Network Firewall Administrator (HYBRD)

Description:Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Network Firewall Administrator primarily responsible for providing departmental representation pertaining to processes, technical expertise for network technologies including data network equipment, security, consulting and costing. The Network Firewall Administrator is expected to closely interface with internal partners and external vendors, providing leadership and direction to ensure network quality, stability and to provide cost effective network solutions to meet evolving client needs.Monitors, deploy changes, supports, handles day-to-day firewall rule deployments, and firewall hardware/software refresh activities. Ensure business service levels are met and environments are managed. Monitors and ensures service restoration of infrastructure, applications (online and offline), and security, while meeting service level agreements. Provide post change support, as well as coordinates and facilitates Incident Management, deploys changes to the production environment, and works with 3rd party providers contracted to the bank during activities and dedication VPN setups. Provides immediate response to production program or system problems. Participates in testing cycles to ensure the ability to deploy and operability of the firewall infrastructure and applications. Deploys, implements, provisions applications and infrastructure per deployment plans and infrastructure build guides.Requirements 5+ years of network and firewall experience, including enterprise experience – approximately 70+ firewalls, 30+ policies, and 1500+ or greater rules on at least 10 firewalls firewall policies in some environments are 20k+.

4+ years of Check Point, 1 + year of Juniper alsoalso expect them to be scaling up quickly on Juniper on their own, watching videos, etc.
