Beacon Hill has partnered with a non-profit to find an Administrative Assistant for the People & Culture team. This person will be bubbly and kind, as they will be the first-person visitors interact with as they enter the office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a foundation that provides outstanding aid to the community.Responsibilities: Work from the front desk, handling telephone calls and serving as the first point of contact with visitors. Assist other departments of central admin office, such as Development (processing donation checks, assisting with sending correspondence such as thank you letters, invitations, etc.). May coordinate meetings and appointments for administrative office staff and People and Culture team as needed. Will oversee inventory of supplies in theoffice, including office and kitchen supplies. May liaise with contract facilities or custodial services as needed to ensure proper building maintenance. Support the annual Staff Engagement, Education and Development (SEED) conference and the biannual Town Hall meetings, coordinating logistics such as meals, supplies, etc, and providing administrative support to the planning committee. Requirements: Minimum associate's degree from accredited college/university or equivalent.2+ years of related administrative support experience. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical, written, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent project management skills that foster positive collaboration and stellar execution. Is aproactive, hands-on strategic thinker. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
