Job Title Software Developer 3 Location Chicago IL USA Duration- 6 - 12 month contract (Probability to extend) Pay rate - $80/hr- $83/hr (W2 ONLY) Job Description : Certifications preferred: AWS Solution Architect - Associate or Professional level The AWS DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure for our applications on the AWS platform, with a focus on using GitLab CI/CD and supporting and enhancing applications developed in Golang and Angular. This includes working with a variety of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation, as well as developing automation scripts using tools such as Python and Terraform. The ideal candidate will have experience with both Linux and Windows systems, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, Agile environment. style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" Key Responsibilities: style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" Design and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" Automate the deployment and scaling of applications using Ansible, Golang, and other technologies style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" Monitor and troubleshoot issues with the infrastructure and applications style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" Collaborate with development teams, release managers and product owners to ensure infrastructure is meeting their needs style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" Optimize infrastructure for cost and performance style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" Continuously improve the infrastructure and automation processes style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" Implement and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipeline for application deployment style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" Share best practices with team members style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" Qualifications: style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" 3+ years of experience working with AWS style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" Strong experience with Linux and Windows systems administration style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Golang and Python style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" Experience with Agile methodologies style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" Strong understanding of networking concepts style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" Strong understanding of security best practices style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" Experience with monitoring and logging tools style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipeline and Angular applications style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" Strong written and verbal communication skills style="padding:0px; box-sizing:inherit" class="Apple-interchange-newline"
