What You'll Do:Perform a final quality check to verify that the orders/transfers/vendor claims provided to the packing area are 100% accurate in line with the order requirementsReport any discrepancies per established proceduresInput data entry to accurately document the items and quantities included in each packing transactionPrepare and package all outbound orders carefully to ensure the merchandise is sufficiently protected from in-transit loss or damageApply packaging labels / attach packing lists and stage completed orders for shipment manifestIdentify expedited requirements and prioritize the processing of those needs accordinglyAssist in the training of new packing staff and other less experienced packersReport any unsafe work practices or accidents to the supervisor in a timely mannerConduct packing supply inventory checks and ensure that stock levels of packing supplies are maintainedDisplays strong work ethic and honesty and adheres to all company policies and proceduresEngages in work with a high sense of urgency, highly organized and detail-orientedBe open to change and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situationsAdditional job duties and responsibilities may be added at any time, as business needs may dictateJob Duties Disclaimer:
