Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Paralegal in LISLE, Illinois, United States. This role primarily focuses on commercial re-leasing and loan documentation, with a minor emphasis on residential work. The Paralegal will be working closely with a team in the corporate department and is expected to independently manage closings from purchase through closure.Responsibilities: Oversee commercial re-leasing processes to ensure they are properly executed Prepare, review, and finalize loan documentation for commercial transactions Manage closing processes independently, from the initial purchase through to closure Collaborate with a team consisting of two partners and one associate in the corporate department Handle a small portion of residential work, maintaining a 90/10 split between commercial and residential tasks Use Adobe Acrobat and other relevant software for document management and processing Maintain an organized calendar to effectively manage deadlines and tasks Utilize excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients Apply knowledge of commercial real estate and commercial leasing in daily tasks Assist in closing documents and processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Requirements Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Demonstrated experience in Calendar Management Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Knowledge and experience in Commercial Real Estate Familiarity with Commercial Leasing Prior experience as a Leasing Consultant is beneficial Ability to prepare and handle Closing Documents proficiently Knowledge of Closing Entries and Closing Processes Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Understands legal terminology and procedures related to paralegal work Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively A degree in law or certification in paralegal studies is preferable.
