Description We are providing an opportunity for a skilled Paralegal to join our team in the manufacturing industry based in LAKE FOREST, Illinois. This role involves supporting attorneys with litigation management and commercial document preparation, maintaining case files, and managing enterprise-wide service of process. Responsibilities: Assist in the management of litigation, including initial case assessment, maintenance of case files, and scheduling hearings. Play a role in managing the asbestos portfolio and liaising with insurers. Oversee the preparation of reserve and accrual reports, issue legal hold orders, and manage responses to subpoenas. Provide support in quarterly reporting using matter management software. Contribute to the drafting and reviewing of a range of commercial documents, reports, and filings. Support attorneys with the preparation, review, and execution of various transaction documents. Assist in the due diligence process (preparation of checklists, review, and summary of documents, etc.). Coordinate the filing of UCC financing statements, order, and review documents in connection with UCC searches. Conduct legal research tasks on various commercial matters and assist with strategic projects as necessary. Utilize skills in contract management, document repositories, and general legal operations.Requirements Must have experience in the Manufacturing industry Role requires the ability to perform the job of a Paralegal Proficiency in Aderant software is required Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat is necessary Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) is a plus Must have experience with Case Management Software CompuLaw software skills are highly desirable Ability to handle Billing Functions Must have experience in Briefing Calendar Management skills are required Claim Administration experience is necessary Excellent Communication skills are crucial Experience in Asbestos Litigation is beneficial Case Management skills are essential Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
