Responsibilities:

Source and procure parts and components necessary for the maintenance and repair of trucks in our service center.

Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements.

Monitor inventory levels and anticipate future parts requirements based on service schedules and projections.

Coordinate with service technicians and management to identify specific part needs and ensure timely procurement.

Evaluate supplier performance and quality of parts to maintain high standards of reliability and durability.

Manage the procurement process from order placement to receipt, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Keep abreast of industry trends and developments to inform procurement decisions and optimize inventory management strategies.

Requirements:

Proven experience in parts procurement, preferably in the automotive or trucking industry.

Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms from suppliers.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and inventory management.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Proficiency in using procurement software and systems for tracking orders and managing inventory.

Knowledge of truck parts and components, including familiarity with different makes and models, is a plus.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Saturday: 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM
