Payroll Specialist

Description We are looking to expand our team with a Payroll Specialist in Arlington Heights, Illinois. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing payroll for a team of 100 employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates. This role also involves using accounting software like QuickBooks and Paycom, and it offers a long-term employment opportunity.(This is a biweekly part time position)Responsibilities: Manage and process bi-weekly payroll for a workforce of 100 employees. Utilize accounting software systems such as QuickBooks for financial tasks. Oversee payroll reports, ensuring hours are accurately calculated for each pay period. Handle manual processing for overtime hours and any other special payroll circumstances. Use ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Dayforce for various financial services. Administer 401k - RRSP Administration and other benefit functions. Perform auditing tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance in all payroll matters. Coordinate with the finance department for budgets and audits. Resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues, maintaining attention to detail.
