Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianJob DescriptionAs an Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that medications are prepared and distributed safely and accurately in the required quantities. Your responsibilities will include receiving and entering prescription or refill requests, verifying that all information is complete and accurate, establishing or maintaining patient profiles, and ensuring the proper use of aseptic techniques for sterile compounding. You will also be responsible for maintaining proper storage and security conditions for drugs, answering telephones, and responding to queries or requests. Additionally, you will clean and help maintain equipment and work areas, receive and store incoming supplies, check for outdated medications in current inventory, and inform the manager of stock needs. You will interpret lab results, work with pharmacists for high-risk therapies, dispense sterile products, provide top-notch customer service, adhere to all state and federal laws and guidelines, and coordinate with internal departments to enhance efficiency and maintain excellent customer service.Hard Skills
