Power Electronics Engineer

• Deep understanding of electrical designs for medium & high voltage switchgear & controls for systems that control multiple power inputs (genset, wind, solar, batteries …) and parallel to one or more utility sources• Knowledge of electrical power distribution, medium & high voltage transformers, system grounding designs, and strong understanding of all applicable/associated National Electrical Code (NEC) and IEEE requirements of these systems• Experience with cogeneration, microgrids, renewable energy, energy storage. Microgrid controllers for energy systems that include generators, inverters, solar arrays, and batteries. Battery Energy Storage Systems for commercial and utility scale
