A grocery retail company is looking to expand their design team by adding a Principal Product Designer, to their established Native Mobile team. They are looking for candidates who are willing to go into their Chicago office on a hybrid basis. This role is a 4-month contract to hire position and is considered a high-level individual contributor role. You would be working closely with the hiring manager to help lead the division by defining team processes and methodologies, working with key stakeholders and mentoring designers. This company expanded rapidly during the pandemic and have plans to continue growing throughout the year. They are looking for someone who has the authority and expertise with working on Native Mobile applications and someone who can help with the UX strategy. Contract Duration: 4 Months Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience working end to end in an in-house role
- 4+ years working with Native Mobile application
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills
- Hands-on work demonstrating User research and usability testing
- Strong understanding of mobile best practices
- Experience working in Sketch, Invision and prototyping tools
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction or equivalent professional experience
