Job Description TITLE: Principal Software Engineer - Full StackDUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC seeks Principal Software Engineer - Full Stack in Riverwoods, IL to develop and maintain full stack solutions to fit business needs. Full stack solutions require one or more of the following: front-end (user interfaces), back-end (APIs), database, and devops development. Work directly with business partners to understand business requirements. Independently innovate on and advocate for best practices within the team and collaborate on them across the enterprise. Carry a holistic view of all products and their interactions to design complex solutions and plan for how new projects will fit into the larger ecosystem. Solve complex technical problems. Guide team in implementation of solutions from inception to production. Develop and maintain complex front ends with a focus on user experience. Develop and maintain backend systems. Use holistic knowledge of all products in the team's ecosystem to plan how new systems will be built and integrated. Innovate on and advocate for best practices and improved processes within the team and with internal partners. Stay up to date with technology trends and innovations. Mentor team members. Create and maintain devops processes, application infrastructure, and utilize cloud services (including database systems and models). Support live systems to ensure business continuity. Promote a risk-aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field of study and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or related occupation: developing and implementing API service architecture; working in a Cloud environment with technologies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform, and Azure; working with BPM Alfresco and React; supporting Agile engineering and development; writing code using object-oriented principles; working with relational databases and NoSQL databases; developing multi-threaded and synchronization applications; and building secure web applications with user authentication.QUALIFIED APPLICANTS: Please apply directly through our website by clicking on "Apply Now."
