PROCESS CONTROL ENGINEERThis high-profile role combines the challenges of project management and information architecture working within a highly skilled team.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Software and Hardware of Process Control systems in all areas of the plant.Plant Process Control systems routinely consist of Allen-Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers communicating to real-time applications, models and databases hosted on Open VMS and Windows Servers. Major Responsibilities include:Ability to work alongside the team to develop hardware and software solutions.Competency in coding, testing, commissioning, tuning, and implementing applications.Ability to see potential production system issues and proactively ensure the highest level of system accessibility.Desire to attend operator and quality improvement meetings, as it relates to assigned area.Consistently provide downturn and start-up supportExcellence in communications with Operations, Vendors, and other department personnel to help manage requests and provide solutions. Candidate Specification: Minimum Requirements:

OVERALL EXPEREINCE 10YRS +Working knowledge in the

design, engineering, installation and testing of hardware and softwareMust have the ability to troubleshoot system and/or process related issues.Understanding of

various programming languages.Understanding the

interfaces and operations of system communicationsUnderstanding of

SCADA and HMI’s Qualifications

OpenVMS and Windows Operating Systems

Oracle, Oracle RDB, and Microsoft SQL Server databases

Wonderware, Citect, and FactoryTalk HMI/SCADA Software

OSISoft PI Historian

FORTRAN, C, and C# languages

PLC block and ladder logicAllen-Bradley (PLC3, PLC5, ControlLogix, etc) knowledge desiredGE (90-30, 90-70, RX-3i, RX-7i etc) knowledge desired Education:Bachelor’s degree or 2 years equivalent experience in Computer, Physics, Electrical, or Data Science field.
