Job Description

Position Overview:
  • The

    Sr. Procurement Analyst, Aftermarket is an integral part of the procurement team.
  • The initial goal will be to gain a solid knowledge of the team’s supply base, company and procurement processes, and understanding of the roles and personnel of associated work groups.
  • The

    Sr. Procurement Analyst, Aftermarket supports the

    Category Manager in managing Cost, Quality and Delivery performance of Supply Base.
  • Key activities include management of

    Cost Reduction projects, assisting with strategic sourcing activities for new programs and transfer business, supplier contract negotiations and administration,

    supplier performance management, working on Best Cost Country Sourcing projects and developing strategies for tail spend suppliers to effectively consolidate the supply base.
  • As

    Sr. Procurement Analyst,

    Aftermarket you will be a member of a

    Category Management Team (CMT), which provides the opportunity to work cross functionally within interfacing with the

    product development, program management, quality, manufacturing, risk management, finance, logistics, aftermarket parts, product pricing, supply chain and more.
  • As you grow and demonstrate solid performance in this role, expect to be given additional responsibilities within Procurement, including management of supplier relationships and performance, commodity strategy development and a higher level of exposure to Procurement leadership.
  • Demonstrating solid performance in this role will position you well for advancement into jobs of higher responsibility within

    Procurement, including Category Manager, Purchasing Commodity Manager (PCM) and Purchasing Program Manager (PPM).

Basic Requirements:Bachelor's degreeAt least 2 years of purchasing/procurement experienceORMaster's degree ORAt least 4 years of purchasing/procurement experience

Desired Skills:
  • Analytical mindset and skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills, written, verbal and presentation
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to relate and work well with others
  • Attention to detail with ability to manage many items at one time effectively
  • Experience in a large, multi-functional company
  • Purchasing, engineering, manufacturing or quality experience
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and key cost drivers
Ability to read & understand prints and technical specifications is a plus
